Educational Support

We believe education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. We support teenage mothers, teenage fathers, and vulnerable children to return to school by providing school fees assistance, learning materials, mentorship, and emotional support.
Our goal is to ensure every child and young parent has the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter, independent future.

Our Impact
Fatherhood with Ollie program.
POLOVE provides compassionate mentorship to teenage mothers and fathers, through a structured program called fatherhood with Ollie, helping them rebuild confidence, develop life skills, and make positive choices for themselves and their children. Through guidance, emotional support, parenting education, and personal development training, we empower young parents to become strong, responsible caregivers and leaders in their communities — creating healthier families and brighter futures.
Fighting Hunger with Chicken Project
POLOVE fights hunger by supporting food banks and providing nutritious meals to vulnerable families, children, and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. We also run a Chicken Project, which supplies families with poultry for food and income. This project improves nutrition, creates sustainable livelihoods, and empowers households to become self-reliant while building long-term food security.

Vocational Training
POLOVE equips teenage parents and vulnerable individuals with practical skills that lead to income and independence. Through hands-on training in trades and entrepreneurship, we help participants start small businesses, secure employment, and build sustainable livelihoods — empowering families to break free from poverty and create stable futures.

A story of 16 year old girl that POLOVE worked with after a devastating moment.
Drugged at a Reunion: A 16-Year-Old’s Journey from Trauma to Healing
She was 16 when it happened. The reunion was meant to be harmless—a small gathering with former schoolmates, familiar faces from a time that felt safe. She attended believing she was among people she could trust. At the party, she was offered a drink. She did not know it had been drugged, nor did she understand what was happening to her body as her strength faded and her awareness blurred. She remembers very little of the night. Only confusion, fear, and a sense of being trapped inside a body that would not respond. What happened next was something she could not immediately name or explain. When she woke up later, the memories were fragmented—but the impact was immediate and devastating. In the days that followed, she withdrew. She struggled with sleep, avoided people, and carried overwhelming shame without knowing why. Like many survivors, she blamed herself—for going to the party, for trusting, for not understanding what had been done to her. It was her behavior, not her words, that raised concern. Eventually, she was referred for psychological support. Therapy became the turning point. Through structured psychology talks, she learned how trauma and drugging affect memory and control. She was helped to understand that consent is impossible when someone is incapacitated—and that what happened was not her fault. Healing was slow and uneven. There were moments of progress and moments of fear. But over time, she began to sleep again. To speak more freely. To rebuild a sense of safety and self-worth. Most importantly, she learned that surviving did not make her weak—and speaking did not make her guilt. Today, she is still healing. The experience changed her, but it did not define her. With psychological support and a safe environment, she is reclaiming her voice and her future.
